Frequency Capping and Budget Settings

When setting up a campaign, controlling how often users see your ads and how your budget is spent throughout the day is
essential for both performance and cost-efficiency.

You can manage these aspects using two key tools:

Frequency Capping, which limits the number of impressions per unique user.

Budget Settings, which define how and when your daily and campaign budgets are applied.

Frequency Cap:

Frequency capping allows you to limit the number of times your ad is shown to a unique user (based on IP) within a specific time period.

You can choose between two modes:

  1. Maximum: default platform-defined cap.
  2. Custom: manual configuration you define.
  • Impressions: 1, 2, or 3 impressions.
  • Time range: 12 hours, 24 hours, or 36 hours.

Example: If you select "2 impressions per 24 hours," each user will see the ad no more than twice per day.

◎ Note: For push notification campaigns, frequency cap accuracy is limited (approx. 40%) due to delayed clicks.

Budget Settings:

You can manage both daily and total campaign budget limits using the following options:

Daily Controls
  • Unlimited daily impressions cap – no limit on the number of impressions per day.
  • Unlimited daily budget – spend is not capped per day.
  • Unlimited campaign budget – no overall spending limit across the campaign's lifetime.

Alternatively, if you set a daily budget or daily impressions cap, you can select one of two spending modes:

  1. Standard – the system will buy as much traffic as possible, as quickly as possible. The budget may be exhausted early in the day.
  2. Distributed – budget is spread evenly throughout the day to maintain constant traffic flow

★ For best results, align your frequency and budget settings with your campaign objectives and pacing strategy.
